Jeff is VP of Operations for The Cromwell Group.

“Hard work outworks talent when talent doesn’t work hard!”

Jeff must love recruiting and the property management business because he has been working in the industry now for 22 years! Other than being a houseboy at a sorority at his beloved University of Georgia, this is the best job he has ever had! Prior to joining The Cromwell Group as a recruiter in 2004, Jeff was in the property management business for over twelve years in a wide variety of positions. His expertise in recruiting covers everything from Regional Property Managers to CEO’s to Development and Construction Management positions. His knowledge of these roles comes from actually holding or working closely with people in those positions. He knows the players in our industry and his team is tired of hearing him say, “I know that person” every time they bring up the name of a candidate.

Jeff has an impressive track record as a recruiter – having attained Pacesetter status six out of the last seven years and finishing in the top five of all recruiters in the North Atlantic Region of MRI four times. Recruiting is challenging and Jeff enjoys the persistence it takes to place top talent in difficult to fill positions nationwide. He considers himself to be a coach to his clients and his candidates. He has even helped clients pick up new fee management business over the years through referrals. The most important aspect of what Jeff brings to the table is his knowledge of his markets. He is a trusted source of information to clients and candidates as well as an expert on lesser known facts that no one cares about because he read the World Book Encyclopedia when he was 12 from cover to cover-volumes A-Z.

Thank goodness he is a terrific recruiter because he is a hack at golf. His two daughters and ancient dog Murphy still appreciate that he works hard especially since he takes them out for ice cream every time he fills a position. He is an officer of the local Rotary Club and donates money to the scholarship fund each time he places a candidate.
